Serving as the umbrella organization for the law schools' Multi-cultural groups, the Multi-Cultural Law Students Association (MCLSA) is quite literally one of the most important and influential groups at RWUSOL. Our aim is to show that today's legal world is impossible to navigate effectively without an understanding of the various cultures, communal diversity, and social nuances that make up our vast society.
MCLSA conducts extensive programs and events throughout the year that showcase RWU's strong multicultural focus, and are designed to peak ones' legal curiosity. While we enrich the RWU legal community by having semester potlucks, quarterly cultural events, monthly community outings, dances, speakers, and a host of other collaborative events; MCLSA celebrates cultural diversity by expanding and cultivating cultural understanding through value driven, fun-packed events. Make no mistake, we are an effective organization, with a broad agenda that seeks committed members from all backgrounds, no matter the race or culture.
If you are committed to developing and/or broadening your legal education by understanding other cultures, then this is an organization that will certainly fulfill your law school interests. Furthermore, if you're looking for an energized learning experience that will only boost your legal qualifications, join MCLSA! It is your legal recourse to culture! |
