Law Students for
Reproductive Justice

Law Students for Reproductive Justice (LSRJ) is a national nonprofit network of law students and lawyers. Our organization educates, organizes, and supports law students to ensure that a new generation of advocates will be prepared to protect and expand reproductive rights as basic civil and human rights.

We are committed to ensuring access to medically accurate, age-appropriate, culturally competent sex and sexuality education, as well as comprehensive reproductive healthcare, including prenatal care, postnatal care, contraception, abortion services, and alternative reproductive technologies for women and men, free from coercion, discrimination and violence.

Our chapter has sponsored speakers to talk to students about reproductive rights both domestically and around the world including most recently Sarah Weddington, winning attorney of Roe v. Wade. We have volunteered at local clinics and our members have given testimony at the Rhode Island State House on proposed laws limiting reproductive choices in our state.
