The ADR Society is a student organization dedicated to promoting student interest in alternative dispute resolution at Roger Williams University School of Law.  Common forms of ADR include negotiation, mediation and arbitration.  The society aims to help students gain an understanding of and promote the use of ADR as an effective alternative to litigation.

The group provides opportunities to hear from ADR practitioners and experts, and offers training in the areas of mediation and negotiation.  The ADR Society lends support to teams representing RWU School of Law at annual mediation and negotiation competitions – both regionally and nationally.

We encourage all students to join the us and participate in ADR Society-sponsored activities.  ADR Society membership benefits all law students, even those interested solely in traditional law practice, by helping them learn how to effectively resolve disputes with opposing counsel via the negotiation process.
